I am here to shout from the roof tops that the Instant Pot  has changed the way that I cook.  This fabulous kitchen gadget allows me to feed my family healthy delicious homemade meals fast!  Meals that used to take an hour or more to cook often take only minutes now, seriously.  My Instant Pot is my new favorite thing in our kitchen and I have lots of kitchen things.

Feeding my family healthy homemade meals that consist of real food is very important to me.  I enjoy discovering new recipes and making our favorites but as my kids get older and we add more activities into our daily routines I find myself limited on time to prepare and cook healthy homemade meals.  The Instant Pot changed all of that for me.  

I now make our favorite meals in a fraction of the time, quite often these dishes turn out even better (the juiciest chicken EVER) and I am saving energy.  The Instant Pot makes feeding my family healthy homemade meals SO easy.

The instant pot has several functions.  It is a pressure cooker, a slow cooker, a rice cooker, porridge maker, steamer, browning pan, yogurt maker, and soup maker.  This wonderful little machine does all of this while using less energy and preserving more nutrients.

The Instant Pot has so many options that it can be overwhelming in the beginning, I think that I read the manual for a week before I actually used it.  But once you use it is SO easy.

The first thing that I cooked in the Instant Pot was a whole chicken.  It took 20 minutes and fell apart once it was done.  It was the most tender and moist chicken, my family was in love.  After dinner I was able to make an amazing bone broth in it and have it in jars before I went to bed, unbelievable.  Since then I have used it for so many other recipes easy and difficult.  Hard boiled eggs, baked potatoes, asparagus rissoto, quinoa, sauce and so much more.  Seriously, I can cook a frozen whole chicken in 40 minutes…so amazing.

I cannot recommend the Instant Pot enough.  If I were Oprah I would give everyone who reads this post their very own Instant Pot but I’m not Oprah so I can only tell you where you can buy one and have it in 2 days, hello Prime!
