This review is part of the Second Annual Natural Parents Network Holiday Gift Guide!
If you need to complete your holiday shopping, find a birthday present for a friend, or just treat yourself to something special, the NPN Holiday Gift Guide has something for everyone. But what’s even better, the NPN Holiday Gift Guide is a great opportunity to shop consciously and to support many naturally minded small businesses.
The 55 companies that have provided items for review and giveaway are almost exclusively made up of work-at-home shops or companies that are dedicated to supporting eco-conscious choices. I’m featuring one of those companies in my review below. When you get done reading my review, please click on over to the full Second Annual Natural Parents Network Holiday Gift Guide, where you’ll find information on 58 products. In total, we’re giving away goodies worth more than $2500!
Even if you don’t win one of our fabulous prize packages, please consider spending part of your gift-giving budget at one of these small businesses. By supporting small businesses, you are helping families, boosting local economies, and supporting ethical practices of manufacturing, production and selling. Take advantage of coupon codes provided by many of the companies, you can find them at the full Gift Guide at NPN. To make browsing easier, we’ve split the Gift Guide into sections with products that are Perfect for Kids and Perfect for Families. And you can find all 6 Rafflecopter widgets there, too.

My Chickadee Designs
Janina, from My Chickadee Designs, learned to sew when she discovered she was pregnant with her daughter. She began making All In One Diaper Clutches for herself and as gifts for friends, personalizing them using different fabric designs. Janina not only handcrafts the amazing diaper clutch she also creates diaper bags, wet bags, totes, reusable snack bags, and toys.
My Chickadee caters to families that live a natural and greener lifestyle. Her products are easy to clean and machine washable, lead & phthalate free. All of the products offered by My Chickadee are designed by a mom and made in the USA.
We are a baby wearing family and were so excited about the My Chickadee Mini Carrier. My girls have made their own carriers out of towels and scarves but when they received their first ‘real’ baby carrier they couldn’t wait to try it out!
This mini carrier allows my daughters to carry their dolls just like I do, by wearing them! This mini carrier has an adjustable hook and loop strap which makes it easy to fit both Audrey, 3 years old, and Ava, 5 years old. I love that this mini carrier can be worn in the front or back making it easy to imitate how they are used to seeing babies worn. The carrier has a front pocket making it easy to store cloth diapers, pretend keys, or sometimes a snack (it is easily washable too)! The My Chickadee Mini Carrier makes it easy for any child to engage in pretend play.
You can purchase your own Mini Carrier at My Chickadee Designs for $22. Not only does My Chickadee offer the Mini Carrier, she offers all in one diaper clutches, totes, wet bags, and snack bags. I can’t wait to order a tote!
Any of the products offered would make a great gift for any parent or parent to be. One of my favorite things about her products is that you can choose the fabric design to make it a perfect match for the person you are shopping for (or yourself!).
