We are a homeschooling family trying to live a natural life. We love to learn, we love to play, and we love to learn while we play.
This is our fifth year homeschooling. Our son attended preschool briefly and our daughters have never attended. I did not always know that I wanted to homeschool, it sort of snuck up on me. You can read why I chose to homeschool here. We have approached homeschooling using many approaches and have settled in as interest-let eclectic homeschoolers.

In our family we learn through doing and playing more often than sitting at a table completing worksheets. We love sensory play, crafts, and field trips. We live in a beautiful place that offers many fun, educational, and often free places to visit!

I homeschool on a very tight budget, I have to so that we can afford for me to stay home with our children. My husband recently took a job that requires him to be gone from home….a lot. Homeschooling is that important to us. I cut corners anyway that I can. You can read some of the ways that I cut corners here.
