Field Trip Friday: Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science

Yay it’s Friday!  Last week I declared all Friday’s field trip day.  There is a local museum that I have been wanting to take the kids to…field trip!!

Today we headed to the Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science.

We arrived at the museum and hit the imagination room while a large group of kids on a field trip worked their way through the museum.

Look out behind you!

The kids had so much fun in the imagination room.  I had to practically drag them out of there to explore the rest of the museum.

Look out behind you!He liked this one...her last name was the same as ours

The forecast called for afternoon showers.  We headed outside to explore the trails behind the museum.  We discovered a playground.  The kids were stoked!  We played and ate lunch.

The kids were beginning to wear out so we headed back to the trails to find our car.

We loaded up and headed for home.  Audrey and Ava were asleep in their car seats before we got out of the parking lot.  Alex and I took the long way home on a stretch of road nestled between the Indian and Bannana rivers.

We had a great field trip Friday!

I love homeschooling!
