Colloidal Silver is a staple in my natural medicine cabinet. I began using colloidal silver, also known as nature’s antibiotic, after we found out that Alex is allergic to penicillin. He suffered tremendously and I have never used antibiotics again in our home. It is easy and safe to treat your family naturally using colloidal silver.
Now, instead of running to the doctor for a prescription to a common antibiotic I choose to treat our family naturally using colloidal silver. I have discovered so many uses for this wonderful silver. I use it to treat a cold or flu, fever blister, burns and so much more. Are you intrigues, if so read on!
What is Colloidal Silver?
First, what do you know about ‘nature’s antibiotic’? It’s funny, prior to becoming a mama the only thing that I knew about Colloidal Silver was a man who I once saw on television named Paul Karason. Paul Karason consumed vast amounts of poorly-made Silver Chloride and baked the silver onto his skin resulting in his blue appearance. That is all I knew, that it could turn you blue.
Why would Paul Karason do this? Many say fame. I am a mama who loves her kids, I have no interest in becoming famous OR turning my family blue. I have researched colloidal silver and I feel that colloidal silver is an amazing way to treat my family naturally in SO many different ways.

How to Treat Your Family Naturally Using Colloidal Silver
Real Quick: What is Colloidal Silver?
Colloidal silver consists of silver atoms suspended in distilled ion-less water. The particles of silver are small enough to penetrate on a cellular level and destroy pathogens of all types, including bacteria, fungal spores, parasites, and viruses.
Not only does silver get rid of pathogens, it helps promote rapid healing of the tissues infected or destroyed. Most burn centers use various forms of silver and silver soaked bandaging for burn victims.
Here are a few ways that I treat my family using Colloidal Silver:
Boost your immune system. I try to take a small dose of silver every day to keep my immune system strong.
Quickly ward off a cold or the flu. When one of us begins to feel crummy we quickly take a dose of silver.
Eliminate fever blisters or cold sores overnight. My son is a worrier and he often chews the inside of his gum resulting in open sores in his mouth. These sores are quite painful so Alex will ask me to rub silver in his mouth. I simply dip a cotton swab in the silver and rub it in his mouth at night before bed and the sore is typically gone in the morning.
Treat Strep Throat. We have been lucky and never encountered strep throat (yet!) but several friends tell me that taking a dose of silver a day for a few days work wonderfully in getting rid of strep throat.
Burns. I am often clumsy in the kitchen and wind up burning myself more than I care to admit. I dab or spray silver on my burn and it heals quickly and leaves no scar.
So those are a few ways that I treat my family naturally using colloidal silver. You can read about more uses for colloidal silver at Natural News.I know that there are many more uses for ‘nature’s antibiotic’ so if you know one please share in the comments!
